Twenty Minutes

We had our wedding at a church in Three Rivers and our reception at the bowling alley in Sturgis. One of Steve's concerns was travel time between the two places, both because of the delays and because more travel time seemed more likely to give people a greater chance to get lost.

Steve and Kristie were, not surprisingly, among the last to leave the church. They travelled 20 minutes. Then they travelled 20 minutes. In the third 20 minutes they finally arrived. Steve was somewhat vexed.

Later, they left the bowling alley to go on the honeymoon. Kristie said they were about 20 minutes from the freeway. They travelled 20 minutes. Then they travelled 20 minutes. In the third 20 minutes they finally reached the freeway.

Clearly, Kristie has an alternate time sense (or she drives like Steve's Aunt Carol).
