Syd the Dominator

Syd, as you probably know, is our six pound titan. He regularly fights with 60 pound Dora and usually wins. One day he came home and found a strange dog¹ in our yard. The other dog was about 50 pounds and Syd launched himself at him backing him into a corner until Kristie came to his rescue.

Syd is just the same when we visit Steve's parents. They have a 45 lb beagle² named Ginger who likes to fight with Syd and Dora. The other day Syd was left there for a visit while Kristie and Natalie³ went shopping. The two dogs set to some serious playing and were both tired out by the time everyone else arrived.

Syd was put outside and when he came back in, he walked into the living room where Ginger was lying on the carpet, lifted his leg, and peed right on her head.

Guess he told her who was in charge.

1. It wasn't that strange, it was Bo, who lives 2 houses down from us.
2. Yeah, she's fat. She's also mean - we can't even take Snuggles over there because Ginger really dislikes her.
3. Natalie is Steve's cousin from Niagra Falls. She's pretty cool and was down visiting partly for Mrs. D's birthday.
