We could almost do an FAQ on each pet, but that'd be crazy. Instead, we pick mostly the questions about the number and type of pets.

Why so many reptiles?

Kristie really loves turtles and tortoises. All the other guys are just a byproduct of her soft heart and compassion.

What are your vet bills like?

Usually they're a couple of pages long, full of technical terms explaining what's been done to help the pet and showing a total due at the bottom.

You know they aren't really kids, right?

Well, it all depends on how you count it. They are like kids in that you need a sitter when you go out, you worry about them while you're gone, and they threaten to eat you out of house and home.
On the other hand, we realize that love for a pet isn't the same as love for a child. We do plan to have kids of our own, so this isn't some weird surrogate kid thing if that's what you're driving at.

What ever happened to Nancy?

After a long search, we've come to the conclusion that Nancy has achieved her lifelong dream and is now living somewhere in the wilds of Allen Park (technically, we know she didn't think of Allen Park, but it is a pretty nice place).

How many pets do you own?

Well, we're up to 10. Tortoises have a slight lead at 4, Turtles and Dogs are tied at 3 each.
