Darth Snuggles

Steve is normally a very warm person, even when he sleeps¹; Kristie is not. It's not the least bit unusual for Kristie to pile on three blankets and a quilt while wearing her Dr. Denton's² to go to be only to be joined by Steve with a sheet.

On these occasions Steve will often discard his sheet while sleeping only to find that Kristie has seized it if he decides he needs it back. Although the struggle is sometimes difficult, Steve usually wins³.

Lately, we've been letting Dora sleep without her kennel⁴, so Snuggles has taken to climbing onto the bed⁵.

It should be noted that when it comes to cover-hogging, Snuggles has studied with the best, Kristie. Last night and again this morning, Snuggles had managed to curl up on Steve's side of the bed and take most, if not all, of his share of the covers with her. Steve tried on both occasions to retrieve his covers, even stooping so low as to bait her with a milkbone, all to no avail. In the morning, Steve was forced to tell Kristie that her former student, Snuggles, had become the master.

In recognition of her skills at the evil practice of cover-hogging, Snuggs will henceforth be known as Darth Snuggles⁶
