Squeaky Thing
While we're at festival, Dora spends the weekends with my folks. Snuggles stays home because she and Ginger can't get along1. My mom comes by a few times a day to let her out2, feed her and whatnot. She always complains that Snuggles never wants to go out for her3.
Last time as she was relating the story of Snuggles ignoring her she said "I gave the squeaky thing..."
"Uhm, Snuggs isn't really a squeaky toy kind of dog."
"No, not her, the squeaky thing4 in the back bedroom. I gave it some iceberg lettuce but then I thought maybe Kristie had said it was bad for it."
"So what did you do?"
"Nothing. I wasn't going to put my hand in there with it."
Luckily, B'elanna, our squeaky guinea pig, usually eats iceberg lettuce a few times a week.
- For some reason, Ginger finds Snuggles very offensive and snaps and bites as soon as she sees her.
- Luckily, they only live a few minutes away.
- We recently discovered that she tries to get Snuggles out the back door - we usually let Snuggs use the front since the steps are shorter.
- I had forgotten that the squeaky thing is what she calls B'lanna the guinea pig.
