On Festival weekends, Dora spends her time with Steve's folks. She likes the break from Snuggles constant snide glances, plus she gets to hang out with Ginger¹ and Groo. Groo's not much more fun than Snuggles, but Dora and Ginger have a pretty good time together.

As you can tell from the pictures on our site, Dora is a fairly tall dog and weighs about 55lbs. Ginger is a beagle and not very tall. She weighs about 45 lbs². The two of them like nothing better than to wrestle.

They usually start almost as soon as the door opens. Within seconds they have the living room rug completely destroyed, pushed against one wall of the room. They do this thing³ where they try to put their mouths around each others heads. When Ginger needs a break, she jumps onto the couch to help equalize their heights.

Dora will usually come after her the first few times but eventually she gets tired too and the couch time-out strategy works. At that point, you can usually count on Ginger to go for some top-rope action and jump onto Dora's head from the couch.

Surprisingly both dogs really seem to enjoy this. Even more surprising, Steve's Dad thinks it's fun to watch and always complains if we come over without bringing Dora for his girl Ginger to play with.
