Steve is normally a relatively calm and logical person (okay, maybe not). Anyhow, one thing that can be counted on to set him off is when a service is offered electronically but then can't be made to work.

He can be counted on to rant uncontrollably and then boycott the service forever. He doesn't visit sony.com¹, he nearly cancelled his Sprint phone service², and he's even been banned from his company's own intranet site³.

In this case, Kristie was able to convince Steve that even though his email didn't work, Ken was still the right man for the job. Several deep breaths later, he decided to forward the rejected emails to himself and make a call.

1. It was later cited as a horrible web site in a national magazine, giving Steve some vindication.
2. He did cancel all the parts that required or even hinted that using their web site might be necessary.
3. Okay, so it was by his coworkers and mostly for his own protection (high blood pressure).
