Steve is normally a relatively calm and logical person (okay, maybe not). Anyhow, one thing that can be counted on to set him off is when a service is offered electronically but then can't be made to work.
He can be counted on to rant uncontrollably and then boycott the service forever. He doesn't visit sony.com1, he nearly cancelled his Sprint phone service2, and he's even been banned from his company's own intranet site3.
In this case, Kristie was able to convince Steve that even though his email didn't work, Ken was still the right man for the job. Several deep breaths later, he decided to forward the rejected emails to himself and make a call.
