Choosing
Rumors that the decision was made based totally on the presence of a nice dog named Luke at the neighbor's place are completely unfounded. After all, as both Ron and Jerry pointed out, it would be better to find the right house and then buy your neighbors a dog if you really wanted them to have one.
Apart from that, we chose the perfect place because:
- Large mostly finished basement is great for gatherings.
- Nice (albeit peach) bathtub.
- Cul-de-sac means great parking and little traffic.
- Deck looks cool and has hot tub.
- Lots of great updates, including central air.
- Centrally located about a block west of Wick and Allen Rds in Allen Park.
- Nicely sized rooms.
- Nearby railroad track affords great opportunities to make stuff flat on the tracks1.
- Previous owner had Harleys and Guns, how weird can we be?
- Neighbors have a really cute dog named Luke who will be nine2 this June, one day after his owner's birthday. No, we don't know her name.
- Steve has never done this before.
- This is the first thing Kristie has ever insisted be changed.
