Lockout

So one day Kristie left for work early in the morning and subbed until about 4:00, then went to Mad Science, then went to an Eagles meeting. The net result was that she left the house about 8:15am and didn't get home until almost 10:00 pm. When she came in and started down the stairs the Lagies, as they are now known, decided it would be fun to lock the door.

So they did. And they brought the key to the room into the room with them and Kristie could not enter the room. She tried the knob once and then stomped up the stairs. Steve, ever the sensitive husband, realized that he and the other Lagies might have made a mistake and went up to apologize.

It didn't work. Kristie had been so traumatized by this event that she would barely talk to him and certainly wan't about to accept his apology (or his excuses). Steve returned to the basement and told the Lagies they were all in trouble. The Lagies paused for a second, realized they were leaving in an hour or so, and went on with their gaming.

Kristie, seeking her vengeance on the Lagies, removed the door knob and hid it. She hasn't been locked out since.
