Donuts

In Steve's office, there is a long-standing tradition that any single man who happens to have a romantic assignation with a young lady is expected to provide donuts the following day. Most women aren't aware of the rule; at least one of those who is aware of the rule has told the young man involved that if he ever brings in a box of donuts, it will be his last.

When Kristie heard of this rule, she became determined to send in some donuts even if they weren't quite "required". Of course, her mission was complicated somewhat by the distance from Detroit to Cadillac. She enlisted an assistant who worked near Steve and whom she swore to secrecy.

One morning, very early, a young lady dropped off some donuts at Steve's office. It was pretty amusing as co-worker after co-worker came, took a donut, then closed the box to read the inscrtiption "You are simply the best!!!"

That's right, Steve saved the box. At least he didn't send any graphic emails...
