The guys at Steve's office were very interested in meeting Kristie and finding out what she looked like. Per his gentlemanly rules, Steve wouldn't cough up anything. He told Kristie about their obsession and she decided to help them out by sending home a beautifully framed picture of herself for Steve's desk

Steve dutifully put the photo on his desk and waited. Several days elapsed without anyone noticing the picture (hazards of a corner cube). Eventually Kristie's appearance came up again and Steve told them they could just check out the photo on his desk. A couple of his coworkers, cackling like hens¹, rushed to his desk right away and then sent several others to check the picture as well. For some reason, everyone but Steve was disappointed by the picture...

Why would anyone be disappointed? That is a very cute foot.
