Green Guy
Origin Story
Greenguy1 and Nancy joined us at the same time. Kristie stopped in a pet store looking for some fresh roaches (new breeding stock) and instead found the two of them. They were pretty big and both were housed in a tank that would've been too small for either of them. They had no light source, no heat and no food.
Kristie bought them to save them from the petshop's owner. She took them to the vet who worked on them for free, charging us only for the medicines.
Greenguy had metabolic bone disease, a common problem for iguana's who aren't fed properly and was kind of slow and lethargic at first.
Current Information
Kristie nursed Greenguy back to health while looking for someone else to take care of him. She eventually found a college student named Pete who was recommended by two of her former professor's at Albion. Pete and Greenguy hit it off right away and we were very glad to find him a new home with someone who will take care of him.

- No, we're not mean, but as a transient, Greenguy was denied a name to help prevent feelings of attachment (no, I don't think it worked).
